DESCRIPTION:Seeks to enhance community wellbeing within the communities that Dyson Group serves in Victoria\, with a focus on migrant communities\, people with disability\, women and girls\, and those facing economic hardship. \n\n\nDyson Group provides funding for community resources and initiatives that have a tangible and positive impact amongst those experiencing disadvantage in the Victorian communities that Dyson Group serves. \nGrants of between $1\,000 and $2\,000 are available for community groups and sporting clubs for the purchase or provision of tangible resources or equipment. \nGrants of between $2\,000 and $5\,000 are available for community programs\, events\, training or services (inclusive of any equipment or resource costs). \nTo be eligible to apply for a grant\, your organisation should meet one or more of the following criteria:\n– Be\, or be auspiced by\, an incorporated not-for-profit conducting activities with charitable purposes\n– Be based within or deliver the majority of your activities within a 10km radius (metro areas) or 50km radius (rural/regional areas) of a Dyson Group depot. \nDyson locations:\n– Bairnsdale\n– Bundoora\n– Deniliquin\n– Kyneton\n– Moama\n– Reservoir\n– Sale\n– Shepparton\n– Wangaratta\n– Wodonga.

DESCRIPTION:Offers financial support to emerging cultural and creative artists and arts workers aged 26 and under. \n\n\nFellowships are for:\n– Arts career building\n– Skills development\n– Exploring new art form practice\, methods and techniques\n– Research towards creative and/or cultural development\n– Mentoring towards development of cultural and creative arts practices. \nFellowship areas of practice can include (but are not limited to):\n– Performing arts\n– Visual arts\n– Written word\n– Digital platforms\n– Arts administration & industry pathways\n– Community arts and culture. \nAge limit for applicants\n– Up to 26 years\n– Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants up to 30 years. \nUp to $10\,000 per applicant (depending on the scope of the proposal).

SUMMARY:GRANT-AUS - Canon Oceania Grants Program
DESCRIPTION:Supports schools\, not-for-profit and community groups who are addressing both social and environmental issues in their community and inspiring change for future generations. \n\n\nIn the spirit of the guiding philosophy of Kyosei – living and working together for the common good – over the last 19 years\, Canon Oceania has supported over 120 schools\, not-for- profits and community groups with over $600\,000 in monetary and product support. \nThis year\, the Canon Oceania Grants Program returns to support four more worthy organisations or individuals to further their impact. \nAvailable grants: \n1) Community Grant – Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities\, cultural and societal causes. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n2) Education Grant – Open to any project run by a primary\, secondary\, or tertiary school/educational institution. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n3) Environment Grant – Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n4) First Nations Grant – Open to any group or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \nContinuing Canon’s process from last year\, judges will select the top three entries in each category\, which will then go through to a public vote\, so the wider Canon community can have their say. \nThe top three finalists will be selected based on the environmental and social merits of their organisation\, as well as the importance of Canon technology in ensuring their initiative’s success.
