DESCRIPTION:Beyond the Seat | From voice to choice \n\n\nThursday 23 October (Student Summit) \n\n\nFriday 24 October (Student Voice Symposium) \n\n\nLocation: Griffith University Gold Coast & Online \n\n\nThis year’s theme challenges us to go further than giving students a seat at the table.\nIt’s about moving from simply listening to sharing real power. \nVoice is the first step – allowing students to be heard. Choice empowers students to co-create\, lead\, and enact change. When voice and choice come together\, education becomes more inclusive\, impactful\, and truly student-centred. \nBeyond the Seat invites us to rethink systems\, relationships\, and leadership\, so students help shape not just the conversation\, but the future. \nOur theme this year will be explored through four streams: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStructures That Listen: Student Voice in University Governance \n\nLearning Together: Co-Creating Curriculum and Pedagogy\nBelonging and Culture: Building Inclusive Communities\nLeadership in Action: Building Confidence and Capability
