SUMMARY:GRANT-AUS IGA Community Chest
DESCRIPTION:Raises funds to support local communities\, charities and other worthwhile causes. It could be in response to a major event like floods or bush fires or something as simple as new soccer balls for the local under 8’s. \n\n\nIGA Community Chest and associated programs have raised over $86 million for local community groups\, not-for-profit organisations\, charities and other worthy causes. This money has assisted over 7\,000 worthwhile causes. \nThe money is raised in a number of ways but predominately through the purchase of products with an IGA Community Chest logo on the label or ticket. Also through purchasing any Community Co product you can help your local IGA grow its Community Chest fund. \nWhen you purchase a product with the IGA Community Chest logo printed on the label a percentage is credited to that store’s IGA Community Chest account. During IGA Community Chest catalogue promotion weeks\, all products in the catalogue bearing the special IGA Community Chest logo contribute to the ‘Chest’. Throughout the year\, extra fundraising activities are conducted by stores and regions. \nIGA Community Chest beneficiary cheques are distributed throughout the year in most states. \nBecause IGA stores are independently owned\, each store will choose the local causes that they would like to support. DESCRIPTION:Supports community\, education and research projects that create positive value and a better digital future for Australians. \n\n\nThe Community Grant Program aims to enhance the utility of the internet for the benefit of the Australian community. \nIt delivers an annual grant round open to not-for-profit organisations and research institutions for community projects\, education and research activities that unlock positive economic and social value for Australians through the internet. \nThe program supports digital innovation and digital inclusion\, with an emphasis on projects which provide benefit to one or more of the following five groups:\n– Rural\, regional and remote Australians\n– Australians living with disability\n– Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples\n– Older Australians (65 years +)\n– Young Australians (12-24 years). \nThe grants delivered through the Community Grant Program are funded by the auDA Foundation. \nTotal funds to be distributed as grants under the Community Grant Program for the 2025 grant round are $750\,000 AUD. 15 Grantees will receive $50\,000 each. \nEligible applicants\n– Not-for-profit organisations and research institutions\, including universities\, that are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC) are eligible to apply. Applicants must be up to date with their reporting to the ACNC and have a publicly available annual report\n– All entities/organisations must be registered in Australia under a Commonwealth\, State or Territory law\, such as a company\, partnership or incorporated association\n– Each organisation may submit one application. To say thanks for your support\, a grants program has been launched: National Pies for Local Legends. \nAny registered Australian community group\, sporting club or not-for-profit organisation can apply. A grant of $1\,000 will be awarded each month\, beginning in March 2024. A major grant of $10\,000 will also be awarded at the end of each 12 month period (end of February). \nWhether you need new boots for your footy club\, art supplies for your painting group\, a special trip funded\, or something else entirely – tell us how National Pies can help! \nFor this current grant period\, the $10\,000 grant will be selected from all grant applications received from 12:00am on 1 February\, 2025 through to 11:59 on 31 March\, 2026.

Tours that include regional and remote destinations\, or which assist performers residing in regional and remote areas to tour\, are a priority for funding. \nPerformances of original Australian contemporary music can include a wide range of different musical styles. \nEligible touring activity includes:\n– Headline tour\, support tour\, opening slot (or a combination of all three)\n– Festival or Biennale appearances\n– Commissioned performances. \nThe tour must comprise of performances in at least three venues or locations outside of the performer’s hometown. Tours that include regional and remote destinations\, or which assist performers residing in regional and remote areas to tour\, are a priority for funding. \nYou can apply for between $5\,000 and $50\,000. The amount you can apply for depends on where you are touring to or from:\n– If your itinerary contains only metropolitan performances\, you may request up to $15\,000\n– If your itinerary contains at least one regional or remote performance\, you may request up to $25\,000\n– If you have at least three confirmed remote or very remote locations in your itinerary you may request up to $50\,000\n– Contemporary Music Touring Program in general supports touring outside of your home state/territory. If you are an artist based in a remote location\, proposing an intrastate tour\, you can apply for up to $50\,000. You must provide a compelling rationale as to why this is appropriate\n– If you are an artist based in a remote or very remote location proposing an interstate tour (including metro and/or regional locations)\, with a minimum of 3 shows\, you can apply for up to $50\,000. You must provide a compelling rationale as to why this is appropriate. \nYou may submit a maximum of two applications to each round of CMTP. \nYou may apply as an individual\, on behalf of a group\, or as an organisation\, to tour live music performances within Australia. \nTouring musicians must be performing original Australian contemporary music. Applications must contain one tour only. \nYou may apply for all costs associated with completing your touring activity. DESCRIPTION:Supports organisations offering health and wellbeing services to LGBTIQA+ people. \n\n\nThe LHP contributes to delivery of the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025–2035\, in line with the Public Governance\, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles 2024. \nOrganisations with specialist expertise in LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing are invited to apply for one-off competitive grants to support new and existing initiatives at the local\, regional and national level that will foster access to appropriate\, culturally sound and inclusive health care. The LHP will contain multiple funding rounds\, and the design of future rounds may be refined based on the outcomes and feedback of previous rounds. \nSpecific objectives of the LHP are:\n– Building the capacity and capability of organisations to enhance accessibility\, availability and safety of healthcare services for LGBTIQA+ people.\n– Building the capacity in communities through strengthened partnerships to enhance preventive health\, protective factors and build health literacy for LGBTIQA+ communities.\n– Growing the evidence base to inform decision making and enhance future action and support for LGBTIQA+ communities. \nThe intended outcomes of the LHP are:\n– Improved health and wellbeing for LGBTIQA+ people through access to safe\, respectful\, high-quality\, and inclusive services.\n– Reduced preventable mortality and morbidity via health promotion\, improved health literacy\, disease prevention\, and early intervention.\n– Better outcomes for priority subpopulations at greatest risk\, including First Nations people\, those in regional and remote areas\, people with disability\, culturally and linguistically diverse communities\, those experiencing mental ill-health\, and people impacted by domestic\, family and sexual violence.\n– Enhanced delivery of care that is safe\, high-quality\, affirming\, trauma-informed\, and person-centred.\n– Increased understanding of LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing experiences through robust data collection\, analysis\, and evaluation of policies\, programs\, and services. \nStreams: \nStream 1:  Advancing Organisations – earning an average of $2 million or less annually in the past 3 years\n– Up to $150\,000 over 12 months\, or\n– Up to $300\,000 over 24 months \nStream 2: Medium-to-Large Organisations – earning an average of over $2 million annually in the past 3 years\n– Up to $750\,000 over 24 months \nOrganisations can submit a maximum of one application per stream. \nOne of the aims of the LHP is to build capacity of the LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing sector. Medium-to-large organisations funded through Stream 2 will be expected to support\nadvancing organisations through national communities of practice\, knowledge sharing and other capacity building activities.
