DESCRIPTION:Provides financial assistance for coaches\, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state\, national or international championships. \n\n\nIf successful\, applicants will receive $500-$750 towards the cost of attending their championships:\n– Base Grant: $500\n– Applicants travelling 800km – 1999km to their nominated championships: + $100\n– Applicants travelling internationally or greater than 2000km to their nominated championships: + $200\n– Applicants residing in a rural electorate: + $50. \nExamples of expenses include (but is not limited to):\n– Competition entry fees/levies\n– Transport costs (e.g. airfares\, petrol)\n– Accommodation\n– Uniform\n– Sporting equipment. \nApplicants must meet the following criteria:\n– Be turning 12 to 18 years of age in the same calendar year as the nominated championships\n– Be an Australian citizen or have been granted permanent resident status\, residing in Australia\n– Be participating as an athlete\, coach\, or match official at an eligible championship or competition\n– Those attending a state championship must be living more than 125km from the championships venue\, and travelling greater than 250km return to participate in the nominated championships\n– Must complete and submit the application prior to or up to one month post completion of your nominated championships\n– May receive a maximum of two grants in the same allocation year\n– Must incur out-of-pocket expenses equal to\, or greater than\, the grant amount they are eligible to receive. \nApplications are open all year but are assessed in 4 funding rounds.

DESCRIPTION:Helps to build vibrant and sustainable rural communities and ensure the ongoing prosperity of regional Australia. \n\n\nIt is built on two key tenets:\n– Vibrant communities are diverse and inclusive with strong social capital\, where everyone can participate and build a better life\n– Sustainable communities innovate\, expand and create opportunities that will deliver demonstrable medium to long-term economic benefit to the community\, contributing to economic sustainability. \nThe ANZ Seeds of Renewal program is focused upon supporting projects that align to one of ANZ’s four focus areas:\n1. Improving environmental sustainability\n2. Improving financial wellbeing within the community\n3. Improving access to housing\n4. Other community projects that assist local communities to thrive. \nAll requests will be considered with a focus on the priority areas listed below:\n– Projects that will deliver demonstrable medium to long-term benefit to a regional Australian community\n– Projects that benefit a large number of people from a diverse range of social groups\n– Projects that encourage inclusion and participation of under-represented or marginalised groups\n– Projects that demonstrate co-contributions (either in-kind or from other funding sources) and broad community support will be looked upon favourably – it is highly recommended that you include these within your application. \nA broad range of charitable projects aligned to the program themes are considered under this program including:\n– Delivering\, or providing activities\, events\, programs and services\n– Purchasing or hiring equipment and materials\n– Community infrastructure projects\n– Developing the resources of the community including volunteers and items that will enable participation in projects. \nOpportunities may also be made available for ANZ staff to provide further in-kind support by volunteering their time to assist successful organisations. \nTo apply\, you must meet the following criteria:\n– Not-for-profit organisations with or without DGR-1 endorsement are eligible\n– Applicant organisations must be a not-for-profit organisation with either an Incorporation Certificate and/or an ABN\n– Project must be for charitable purposes and offer clear public benefit\n– Organisations can submit one application per grant round\n– Projects must benefit communities in remote\, rural or regional Australia.

The more social impact you can illustrate through your idea – the better and the greater your chances of winning the grant. \nWho can apply for a Giving Joy grant?\n– Women ages 18 and up from any country or state or territory in the world. \nDo I have to own a business to apply?\n– No. You can use the grant to start a new business\, or expand your existing business. You can also use the grant to start or expand a nonprofit\, non-governmental organization (NGO)\, charity\, or propose a specific activity or project you would like to implement. \nAre the grants limited to a specific field (like health)?\n– Absolutely not. You can propose activities in any field\, trade\, occupation\, or craft. However\, your business/organization/idea must focus on women\, girls and/or families. And all activities must be LEGAL! \nWhat is the duration of the grant?\n– The grant period is six months. \nGrant is up to US$500.

DESCRIPTION:Supports schools\, not-for-profit and community groups who are addressing both social and environmental issues in their community and inspiring change for future generations. \n\n\nIn the spirit of the guiding philosophy of Kyosei – living and working together for the common good – over the last 19 years\, Canon Oceania has supported over 120 schools\, not-for- profits and community groups with over $600\,000 in monetary and product support. \nThis year\, the Canon Oceania Grants Program returns to support four more worthy organisations or individuals to further their impact. \nAvailable grants: \n1) Community Grant – Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities\, cultural and societal causes. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n2) Education Grant – Open to any project run by a primary\, secondary\, or tertiary school/educational institution. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n3) Environment Grant – Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \n4) First Nations Grant – Open to any group or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community. The winner will receive $2\,500 cash\, and Canon Product valued up to $2\,500. \nContinuing Canon’s process from last year\, judges will select the top three entries in each category\, which will then go through to a public vote\, so the wider Canon community can have their say. \nThe top three finalists will be selected based on the environmental and social merits of their organisation\, as well as the importance of Canon technology in ensuring their initiative’s success.

Excluded are VFL\, SANFL and WAFL clubs as well as umpiring groups.
