SUMMARY:GRANT - Regional All Abilities Participation Grants
DESCRIPTION:Supports grassroots sport and active recreation clubs and community-based not-for-profit organisations\, to enable ongoing\, sustainable\, and meaningful participation for people with disability in regional Victoria. \n\n\nRegional All Abilities Participation Grants assist organisations to increase participation opportunities and address barriers to participation for people with disability in regional Victoria. \nGrants will support organisations to:\n– Purchase modified equipment\, assistive technology\, adaptive clothing and environmental aids\n– Recruit\, mentor\, employ and retain a person with disability to a paid or voluntary position\n– Employ a specialised workforce to support people with disability\n– Reduce travel costs for active participants with disability\n– Broaden the range of on-going\, flexible and place-based sport or active recreation programs; and\n– Increase awareness\, understanding\, acceptance\, community pride and connection. \nEligible organisations must:\n– Be not-for-profit and non-government\n– Be operating in Victoria\n– Be a legal entity\, possessing an Australian Company Number (ACN)\, Incorporated Association Number (IAN) or an Indigenous Corporation Number (ICN)\n– Currently deliver activities that encourage participation in sport\, active recreation or physical activity\n– Deliver project funding in one of Victoria’s 48 regional and rural council areas. \nThe following organisations are eligible to apply:\n– Community sport and active recreation clubs\, associations and leagues\n– State Sporting Associations (SSA)\n– State Sport and Active Recreation Bodies (SSARB)\n– Regional Sports Assemblies (RSA)\n– Regional Academies of Sport\n– State recreation organisations\n– Disability sporting organisations\n– Disability service providers\n– Disability or Self-Advocacy groups\n– Health and Allied Health service providers\n– Neighbourhood House\n– Social enterprise\n– A registered charity. \nFunding categories: \nCategory 1: Equipment and Travel\nUp to $25\,000 for organisations to:\n– Purchase equipment\, assistive technology\, adaptive clothing or environmental aids\n– Reduce travel costs for active participants with disability\, including players\, umpires or officials and travel support personnel. \nCategory 2: Inclusion Workforce\nUp to $25\,000 for organisations to:\n– Employ a specialised workforce to support the needs of people with disability\n– Recruit\, mentor\, employ and retain a person with disability to a paid or voluntary position. \nCategory 3: Programs and Disability-led Initiatives\nUp to $25\,000 for organisations to:\n– Deliver an on-going sport or active recreation program for people with disability\n– Deliver projects led by or involving people with disability in the decision-making process. \nClick here to view full funding guidelines on the provider’s website.

By supporting this community grant\, the program aims to empower local projects that address critical needs\, enhance neighbourhood well-being\, and stimulate economic opportunities. \nFBRE are committed to support any local communities and groups in one of the below categories:\n– Not-for-profit associations and charity groups\n– Sports clubs and schools\n– Charity and fund raising events. \nEach quarter\, one winning group will be selected to receive a payment of $750. SUMMARY:GRANT-VIC - Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program - Category 1 & 2
DESCRIPTION:Assists Aboriginal Victorians to participate in Aboriginal sport carnivals\, buy sports uniforms and equipment\, as well as funding for travel and accommodation expenses for athletes to compete in state and national competitions. \n\n\nThe Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program provides grants to assist Aboriginal Victorians to participate in Aboriginal sporting carnivals\, buy sports uniforms and equipment\, as well as funding for travel and accommodation expenses for athletes to compete in state and national competitions. \nThe program has three categories: \nCategory 1: Aboriginal Sporting Carnivals\n– Grants of up to $2\,500 per junior team with a maximum total of $15\,000 and $1\,500 per senior team\, with a maximum total of $9\,000\, are available to eligible applicants to pay for travel\, accommodation and registration costs to participate in Victorian or national Aboriginal sporting carnivals and/or tournaments\n– Eligible organisations can apply for up to 10 separate teams or individuals under one application\, however\, under category 1 a separate application must be submitted for each specific sporting event. \nCategory 2: Uniforms or Equipment\n– Grants of up to $1\,000 per team and up to $250 per individual\, with a maximum total of $6\,000\, are available to eligible applicants\, for the purchase sporting uniforms and/or equipment\n– Eligible organisations can apply for up to 10 separate teams or individuals under one application. \nCategory 3: Athlete Participation Support (see other listing)\n– Grants of up to $350 for Regional Selection\, $550 for State Selection and $750 for National Competition Selection per individual (including athletes and coaches) are available to eligible applicants\, to pay for travel and accommodation costs to compete or train in regional\, state and national competitions or representative teams that demonstrate a pathway opportunity\n– Eligible organisations can apply for up to 10 individuals under one application\, however\, under category 3 a separate application must be submitted for each specific sporting event.\n– Applications submitted under category 3 will be accepted from the opening of Round 1 until funding is exhausted. \nWho Can Apply?\n– Aboriginal Individuals and teams that are not affiliated with a club or association can apply for a grant in categories 1 and 2 but must have an arrangement with an organisation from the list attached to these guidelines to manage the grant funding on their behalf through a funding agreement with the department.\n– Aboriginal Community groups that are not incorporated may also apply for a grant for their community members (Aboriginal individuals or teams) but must have an incorporated association acting as an auspicing body to manage the funding on their behalf through a funding agreement with the department.\n– Incorporated sporting clubs and associations or Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations may apply for a grant on behalf of the members (Aboriginal individuals or teams) and will b
