SUMMARY:GRANT-WA Community Training Grants
DESCRIPTION:Funds participation in a selection of training courses offered by the Institute. \n\n\nAIM recognises the work of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and aspiring professionals in the community\, wishing to embark on professional development. \nThe Community Training Grant provides training up to the value of $3\,000 for organisations and up to $4\,000 for individuals that can be used to fund participation on a selection of training courses offered by the Institute. \nAIM WA awards Community Training Grants in two categories: \n1. Organisational Grants\nAIM invites organisations from civic and voluntary groups\, charitable and welfare groups\, church groups and other not-for-profit organisations to apply. \n2. Individual Grants\nThe Individual Community Training Grants are broken down into two subcategories:\n– Ben Scott Young Professional: This category is tailored for ambitious young professionals under the age of 35 years who are in\, or aspiring to be in\, a management or leadership role and wishing to embark on professional development.\n– First Nations Individuals: This category is tailored for First Nations individuals who are in\, or aspiring to be in a management or leadership role and wanting to undertake professional development opportunities with AIM WA. \nCommunity Training Grants may be awarded in the following fields:\n– Interpersonal and Communication Skills\n– Leadership and Management\n– Frontline Management and Supervision\n– Work Health and Safety\n– Project\, Contract and Process Management\n– HR\, Training and Administration\n– Finance\, Sales and Marketing\n– Computer Skills. \nClick here to view full funding guidelines on the provider’s website.
