DESCRIPTION:Gives charities and community groups the means to raise funds in a convenient and ongoing way. \n\n\nWhen you recycle with Containers for Change\, you get a 10 cent refund for every eligible container you return. \nOnce you are all set up\, you can engage your supporters to donate their containers and help you reach your fundraising goals. \n7 easy steps to fundraising:\n– Sign up for a member number\n– Decide your fundraising approach\n– Get 10¢ container savvy\n– Know your local refund point\n– Talk to your community\n– Spread the word. \nOnce you have your group member number\, you’ll need to decide on the fundraising approach that best suits you.\n– BECOME A DONATION POINT: If you have the space\, you can choose to become a donation point. This lets people drop their 10¢ containers off at your location\, so you can return them and collect the refund for your group\n– COLLECT AT EVENTS: If you’re hosting a community event\, it is a great opportunity to collect extra 10¢ containers. SUMMARY:GRANT-WA LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants Program
DESCRIPTION:Provides funding to support initiatives that build belonging\, safety\, equity\, and wellbeing in LGBTIQA+ communities across Western Australia. \n\n\nIn 2025–26\, LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants Program supports initiatives that align with two priority areas of Western Australia’s LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy 2025-2035:\n– Belonging\, connection and visibility.\n– Safety\, equity and wellbeing. \nProjects should consider how they could deliver better outcomes for LGBTIQA+ people and communities to:\n– Implement LGBTIQA+ inclusive practices\, programs and services.\n– Strengthen workforce capability and leadership in supporting LGBTIQA+ people.\n– Build partnerships across sectors for an integrated approach to activities aimed at developing better outcomes for LGBTIQA+ people and communities. \nThe LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants 2025–26 Program includes two separate grant application opportunities: \n1. LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants Program 2025-26 – Tier One Grants\nGrants of up to $10\,000 (excl. GST) for pilots\, projects and initiatives that work with and for LGBTIQA+ people and communities towards building a safer and more inclusive WA and aligning to the priority focus areas. \n2. LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants Program 2025-26 – Tier Two Grants\nGrants of up to $25\,000 (excl. GST) to undertake collaborative pilots\, projects and initiatives using a consortia approach that work with and for LGBTIQA+ people and communities towards building a safer and more inclusive WA and aligning to the priority focus areas. \nApplications for the Tier Two Grants should include information on the consortia arrangements for the project\, including:\n– The lead organisation that will be responsible for the administration of funding\, monitoring and reporting against the grant.\n– Registered business and trading names of all organisations involved in the consortia.\n– Roles and responsibilities of consortia organisations in delivering the project. \nA range of items associated with staging an event/activity or directly related to the delivery of the project such as:\n– Minor administration costs such as postage and phone calls\n– Hire of equipment\, transport and venue hire\n– Publication costs of resources and material created through the project\n– Resource materials\, publicity\, communications and marketing costs\n– Food and non-alcoholic beverages for community engagement activities\n– Staff wages/salaries directly related to the project\n– Consultants and facilitators\n– Intrastate travel\n– Audit costs\n– Project evaluation. \nTo be eligible to apply for a grant through the LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Initiatives Grant Program\, applicants must be operating fully in Western Australia and be:\n– An incorporated not-for-profit community organisation\n– An Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation\n– Local government authority\n– An unincorporated organisation or community group\, applying through the auspice of an incorporated body or a local government authority. \nClick here to view full funding guidelines on the provider’s website.

DESCRIPTION:Funds participation in a selection of training courses offered by the Institute. \n\n\nAIM recognises the work of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and aspiring professionals in the community\, wishing to embark on professional development. \nThe Community Training Grant provides training up to the value of $3\,000 for organisations and up to $4\,000 for individuals that can be used to fund participation on a selection of training courses offered by the Institute. \nAIM WA awards Community Training Grants in two categories: \n1. Organisational Grants\nAIM invites organisations from civic and voluntary groups\, charitable and welfare groups\, church groups and other not-for-profit organisations to apply. \n2. SUMMARY:GRANT-WA - Public Purposes Trust Fund
DESCRIPTION:Supports initiatives that enhance legal education\, disseminate legal information\, and improve community access to legal services across Western Australia. \n\n\nThe Trust Fund allocates funds towards annual grants for applications from organisations that meet the objectives of the Trust Fund\, these being:\n– To advance the education of the community\, and any section of it\, with respect to the law\n– To advance the collection\, assessment and dissemination to the community\, and any section of it\, of information relating to the law\n– To improve the access of the community\, and any section of it\, to legal services. \nFunding may be granted to activities that:\n– Advance the education with respect to the law of persons desiring to study law\, law students\, law graduates\, legal practitioners\, and persons having responsibility for legal education and for the administration of the law and the legal system\n– Establish and advance law libraries and legal information services\, including computerised legal information retrieval services\n– Advance the examination of the law\, the legal system\, the legal profession\, legal education\, legal services and the effect of any of them on the community\, or any section of it. \nPersons\, organisations or institutions can apply for funding for activities that fall within the above objects of the Trust Fund. Applications are received in advance for activities occurring in the following financial year\, 1 July to 30 June.
