SUMMARY:GRANT-NSW - Backing the Future Grants NSW
DESCRIPTION:Provides funding to individuals or groups of individuals whose work supports rural and regional young people aged 12-30. \n\n\nBacking the Future gives individuals or groups of individuals across NSW $50\,000 to advance an idea to support rural and regional young people aged 12-30 to:\n– Access Decent Work\n– Care for the Environment\n– Contribute to Society\n– Explore Christian Faith and Values. \nBacking the future is delivered in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR). Each year\, VFFF and FRRR will open applications for both a NSW and QLD round. \nVFFF are eager to support early-stage work that might not otherwise be eligible for philanthropic funding. For this reason\, Backing the Future does not accept applications from registered charities or organisations. \nOther exclusions include: individuals seeking support for scholarships\, public fundraising appeals\, disaster appeals\, political projects\, litigation and/or political lobby groups. \nBacking the Future grants support:\n– Individuals (18+) researching\, piloting or accelerating early-stage ideas\n– Work based in rural and regional NSW focused on young people across one or more of VFFF’s four focus areas\n– Individuals committed to working with and elevating the voices of young people\n– Salary\, start up or project costs. \nEligibility:\n– Individuals aged 18+ who are entitled to work in Australia can apply. Individuals do not need any academic qualifications or specific experience to apply.
