SUMMARY:WEBINAR - Strategic Planning (Interactive)
DESCRIPTION:Who really has time for strategic planning? There is so much going on within our organisations that demands our attention. It’s tempting to leave strategic planning languishing on the back burner. \nBut strategic planning shouldn’t be an afterthought. Decisions we make in today’s board meetings will reach well into our future. In the absence of a clear strategic plan\, its unlikely to be a well-informed decision-making process. If you’re not forward planning\, the future may not thank you!

SUMMARY:WEBINAR - Attract Partners Who Co-Create Value With You Instead of Just Buying Your Sponsorship Packages
DESCRIPTION:Most partnership models fail for one simple reason: the numbers do not match the value. \nOur special international guest\, Dr Michael Tatonetti\, has made it his mission to fix that. Pushing beyond familiar partnership models and expanding how associations think about value\, partnerships\, and long-term sustainability. \nWorking at the intersection of pricing\, value\, and association sustainability\, Michael helps associations rethink how value is defined\, structured\, and priced across membership\, education\, sponsorship\, events\, and marketing\, so partnerships move beyond transactions into genuine alignment. \nIf your partnership model still relies on tiers\, logos\, and inclusions\, the issue often is not your partners. It is that the value has not been clearly articulated or designed in a way that truly supports your mission. In this webinar\, Michael brings a pricing led lens to partnership design\, exploring how to build partnerships from the ground up through clarity of purpose\, shared goals\, co-created value\, and year-round integration. \nYou’ll walk away able to: \n\nBuild partnerships rooted in shared purpose\, not packages\nAlign partner goals with your mission in a way that feels authentic\nCo-create initiatives that deliver real value for your sector\nReplace logo placement with genuine integration and year-round design\nCreate partnership models that elevate both organisations\nAttract partners who want to collaborate\, not just buy visibility\n\nIf you want partnerships that last\, you have to design relationships – not packages. \n📅 Date: Wednesday 11 March 2026 \n🕓 Time: 11.00am – 11.45am AEST | 12.00pm – 12.45pm AEDT | 2.00pm – 2.45pm NZDT \n📍 Zoom

SUMMARY:WEBINAR - Engaging Volunteers: Tips for navigating the legal landscape
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are the lifeblood of the community sector\, whether they’re sizzling sausages at the local fair\, coordinating vital fundraisers\, or providing vision and leadership in the boardroom. Without them\, many organisations would be unable to keep the doors open. \nDespite this\, many organisations aren’t aware of their legal responsibilities when it comes to volunteer management. That’s why we’re hosting this webinar on volunteer management with Maddocks\, our preferred legal supplier. SUMMARY:WEBINAR - What AI Can\, Can't and Shouldn't do in NFP Roles
DESCRIPTION:Separate AI hype from reality to focus on what AI can genuinely achieve for not-for-profit organisations. Join us to explore AI’s capabilities and limitations\, and leave this session understanding where human judgment remains crucial for success.  \n\n\nWill AI replace me in the workplace?  \n\n\nThis existential question is a point of reflection (or concern) for many of us. While some celebrate AI’s seemingly limitless potential\, some fear how this could potentially displace us in the workplace.  \n\n\nThe answer? There is room for both of you and AI. The key is finding the right balance.  \n\n\nThroughout this session\, we will revisit common use-cases shared by many not-for-profit organisations through 3 models of human-AI collaboration:  \n\n\n\n\nAI as a transactional assistant (meant to fill gaps when they arise)  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAI as a companion (you default to AI to assist you in certain segments of your work)  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAI as an independent automation (fully handed over to AI)  \n\n\n\n  \nThis webinar covers topics including: \n\nUnderstanding realistic expectations of AI capabilities.\nIdentifying areas of NFP work most and least suited to AI.\nRecognising the importance of human oversight and context.
