DESCRIPTION:Provides venues who demonstrate a commitment to increasing live music programming with grants to support advice from consultants and experts to create fit-for-purpose venues. \n\n\nAdvice may include:\n– Assessment reports to support infrastructure development (e.g. soundproofing\, ventilation\, accessibility)\n– Development application and planning expenses\n– Legal services and licensing consultants\n– Energy efficiency audits. \nThis funding aims to:\n– Increase the number of fit-for-purpose live music venues in NSW\n– Increase sector knowledge and expertise in best practice sound management and sustainable live music programming\n– Reduce sound impact on neighbours\, leading to less complaints and increased business viability\n– Increase diversity of live music offerings for improved audience and visitor experience. \nThis funding program is open to NSW contemporary live music venue owners and operators who demonstrate a commitment to increasing live music programming. \nApplicants must satisfy ONE of the following criteria:\n– Be an incorporated entity or trust (including a trust with a corporate or individual trustee) and hold an Australian Business Number (ABN)\, Australian Company Number (ACN)\, or\n– Be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or the Co-operatives National Law (NSW) set out in the appendix to the Co-operatives (Adoption of National Law) Act 2012. \nApplicants must also:\n– Hold a lease or occupancy agreement with at least 2 years from the application close date remaining of the current term (where the premises aren’t owned by the operator)\n– Provide a support letter from premises (building) owner for proposed grant where premises not owned by the applicant\n– Have majority Australian ownership\n– Hold a OneMusic licence for Live Music performances. \nExamples of venue types may include\, but are not limited to small bars\, hotels\, clubs (including DJ performance venues) and community halls. \nApplicants are required to contribute 30% in cash to the overall project budget. \nClick here to view full funding guidelines on the provider’s website.

SUMMARY:GRANT-AUS LGBTIQA+ Health Program
DESCRIPTION:Supports organisations offering health and wellbeing services to LGBTIQA+ people. \n\n\nThe LHP contributes to delivery of the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025–2035\, in line with the Public Governance\, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles 2024. \nOrganisations with specialist expertise in LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing are invited to apply for one-off competitive grants to support new and existing initiatives at the local\, regional and national level that will foster access to appropriate\, culturally sound and inclusive health care. The LHP will contain multiple funding rounds\, and the design of future rounds may be refined based on the outcomes and feedback of previous rounds. \nSpecific objectives of the LHP are:\n– Building the capacity and capability of organisations to enhance accessibility\, availability and safety of healthcare services for LGBTIQA+ people.\n– Building the capacity in communities through strengthened partnerships to enhance preventive health\, protective factors and build health literacy for LGBTIQA+ communities.\n– Growing the evidence base to inform decision making and enhance future action and support for LGBTIQA+ communities. \nThe intended outcomes of the LHP are:\n– Improved health and wellbeing for LGBTIQA+ people through access to safe\, respectful\, high-quality\, and inclusive services.\n– Reduced preventable mortality and morbidity via health promotion\, improved health literacy\, disease prevention\, and early intervention.\n– Better outcomes for priority subpopulations at greatest risk\, including First Nations people\, those in regional and remote areas\, people with disability\, culturally and linguistically diverse communities\, those experiencing mental ill-health\, and people impacted by domestic\, family and sexual violence.\n– Enhanced delivery of care that is safe\, high-quality\, affirming\, trauma-informed\, and person-centred.\n– Increased understanding of LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing experiences through robust data collection\, analysis\, and evaluation of policies\, programs\, and services. \nStreams: \nStream 1:  Advancing Organisations – earning an average of $2 million or less annually in the past 3 years\n– Up to $150\,000 over 12 months\, or\n– Up to $300\,000 over 24 months \nStream 2: Medium-to-Large Organisations – earning an average of over $2 million annually in the past 3 years\n– Up to $750\,000 over 24 months \nOrganisations can submit a maximum of one application per stream. \nOne of the aims of the LHP is to build capacity of the LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing sector. Medium-to-large organisations funded through Stream 2 will be expected to support\nadvancing organisations through national communities of practice\, knowledge sharing and other capacity building activities. Advancing organisations will have access to resources and\nsupport from LHA\, other LHP participants and externally facilitated opportunities. \nTo be eligible\, you must demonstrate the application is on behalf of an organisation where the service is:\n– An LGBTIQA+ community-led health and wellbeing service\, or\n– A partnership between an LGBTIQA+ community-led health and wellbeing service and other health and wellbeing service\, where shared resourcing and decision-making is demonstrated\, or\n– Delivered by a generalist organisation but primarily intended to improve the health or wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ people and this service has been running within the past 3 years (i.e. was operating for any amount of time between January 2023 to now). \nClick here to view full funding guidelines on the provider’s website.
