SUMMARY:WEBINAR - Designing Event Experiences That Captivate Attention and Stick in People’s Minds Long After They Leave
DESCRIPTION:Make Your Events Unforgettable (For All the Right Reasons) \nMost events are perfectly organised… and completely forgettable. Not because the team lacked skill\, but because the experience wasn’t designed to make anyone feel anything. \nToday’s attendees don’t want another agenda. They want a moment. They want meaning. They want something that cuts through the noise of every other “good but forgettable” event they’ve attended this year. \nThis session challenges the way associations plan events by default. You’ll explore why most programs fail to hold attention\, why emotion is your most underused design tool\, and why people only remember the moments you intentionally craft — not the dozens of hours spent polishing logistics. \nUsing storytelling\, behavioural insight\, experience design and the neuroscience of memory\, we’ll unpack how to design events that don’t just run well\, but hit\, resonate\, and stay with people long after they’ve left the room. \n📅 Wednesday 22 April 2026 \n🕘 11.00am – 11.45am AEST / 1.00pm – 1.45pm NZST \n📍 Zoom  \nYou’ll walk away able to: \n\nStop designing events people forget and start designing moments they feel\nUse emotion and story as strategic tools\, not afterthoughts\nCapture attention in a world where distraction wins by default\nBuild experiences that people talk about — not just attend\nTurn any event into something memorable\, meaningful\, and impossible to copy\n\nIf you want your events to matter\, you have to design for memory — not for comfort.
