In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the student journey at UOW by driving the Volunteering Program, supporting student leaders, and delivering initiatives like the Pulse Pantry. You’ll create opportunities for students to get involved in events, festivals, workshops, sports, and charitable projects—both on and off campus. If you love seeing people get connected, grow, and thrive, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Bring
UOW Pulse are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Experience leading small teams and delivering learning outcomes.
- Event coordination skills and the ability to prioritise in fast‑paced environments.
- Initiative, creativity, and a passion for student engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to support events during evenings or weekends when needed.
- An understanding of risk management and safe event practices.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering workshops or training in a tertiary environment.
- Knowledge of UOW student life, extracurricular programs, or campus culture.
Qualifications
- A relevant degree (or working towards it), or experience in a similar role.
