SESSION OVERVIEW

Today’s workplace sees five generations working side by side, bringing different expectations around communication, feedback, wellbeing, leadership and career progression. While these differences can create tension, they also present
an incredible opportunity for organisations willing to adapt.
Designed specifically for leaders and HR professionals, these proposed sessions combine a practical keynote presentation with an authentic panel discussion featuring young professionals. Together, these sessions will help delegates better understand the next generation of employees while providing practical strategies they can immediately apply within their own teams.

Leading The Next Generation Workforce
Keynote Presentation | 60 Minute Session

Leading Gen Z and Gen Alpha requires leaders to rethink how they communicate, build trust, deliver feedback, and create workplaces where accountability and wellbeing go hand in hand.
In this presentation, Scott explores the changing expectations of today’s workforce, unpacks the realities behind some of the biggest misconceptions surrounding younger employees and shares practical leadership strategies that help organisations attract, engage and retain emerging talent.
Drawing on insights from thousands of conversations with young people, employers and educators across Australia, this session equips leaders with a modern playbook for managing the next generation with confidence.

Gen Z Unfiltered: Beyond The Stereotypes
Panel Discussion | 40-60 Minute Session

Everyone has an opinion about Gen Z but few have actually asked them.
This candid conversation brings together a group of young professionals to answer the questions leaders are often thinking, but rarely feel comfortable asking. Why do young people leave? What does loyalty mean today? Why does feedback land differently? Do Gen Z employees really want to be the boss? And what can great leaders do to bring out the best in them?
Through honest stories, lively discussion and audience questions, this session moves beyond the headlines and stereotypes to explore what young professionals are really looking for from work, leadership and career growth.
Expect to hear the questions you’ve always wanted to ask, the answers you might not have considered and the insights you need to build stronger teams.
