GRANT-WA Community Training Grants

Funds participation in a selection of training courses offered by the Institute.
AIM recognises the work of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and aspiring professionals in the community, wishing to embark on professional development.
The Community Training Grant provides training up to the value of $3,000 for organisations and up to $4,000 for individuals that can be used to fund participation on a selection of training courses offered by the Institute.
AIM WA awards Community Training Grants in two categories:
1. Organisational Grants
AIM invites organisations from civic and voluntary groups, charitable and welfare groups, church groups and other not-for-profit organisations to apply.
2. Individual Grants
The Individual Community Training Grants are broken down into two subcategories:
– Ben Scott Young Professional: This category is tailored for ambitious young professionals under the age of 35 years who are in, or aspiring to be in, a management or leadership role and wishing to embark on professional development.
– First Nations Individuals: This category is tailored for First Nations individuals who are in, or aspiring to be in a management or leadership role and wanting to undertake professional development opportunities with AIM WA.
Community Training Grants may be awarded in the following fields:
– Interpersonal and Communication Skills
– Leadership and Management
– Frontline Management and Supervision
– Work Health and Safety
– Project, Contract and Process Management
– HR, Training and Administration
– Finance, Sales and Marketing
– Computer Skills.
