Maintaining your composure and effectively working through problems and challenges with others is a vital skill. In our current environment many are experiencing stress, hardship and may at times exhibit challenging behaviour. We are now more likely to be dealing with this in a hybrid working environment which requires a whole new skill set.

This session will aim to build your toolkit and prepare to effectively navigate these situations towards a positive outcome for both parties.

Learning outcomes

Following the program participants will be able to:

  • Appreciate the dangers of avoiding difficult conversations and the benefits of handling situations early.
  • Prepare and plan for having difficult conversations.
  • Identify their approach and mindset.
  • Apply the listening and communication skills required while engaging in these conversations.
