GRANT-SA Multicultural Community Fund

Helps expand and improve infrastructure to support South Australia’s multicultural communities.
The fund aims to create accessible, inclusive and welcoming community facilities across South Australia, where people can connect and celebrate culture.
Funding will prioritise those most in need of support to build and strengthen their community connections.
Fund Objectives
– Address gaps and needs in community infrastructure for multicultural groups
– Create inclusive and accessible venues for cultural celebration and connection, and
– Strengthen community capacity and capability to lead, deliver and manage community infrastructure.
Fund Outcomes
– Increased access to community infrastructure
– Greater social interaction from community members of all ages and backgrounds
– Enhanced connection within communities, and
– Enhanced equity, inclusion and cohesion among South Australian communities.
The fund supports projects such as:
– New builds: constructing new facilities
– Upgrades and extensions: major renovations, redevelopments or extensions to existing community facilities
– Outdoor spaces: developing or upgrading owned and secured outdoor community or cultural spaces.
Eligible applicants must have an Australian business number (ABN) and be one of the following:
– A local council
– An incorporated not-for-profit multicultural community organisations
– An Australian public company limited by guarantee, which has a primary purpose of supporting multicultural communities.
