The Role
ActivateUTS are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Student Life (Clubs & Partnerships) to lead the development of club culture and student engagement initiatives across ActivateUTS.
Reporting to the General Manager, Student Life & Sport, you’ll oversee the operations and governance of UTS social clubs, deliver high-impact programs that enhance student wellbeing and belonging, and build strong partnerships across UTS and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations, development, and compliance of UTS social clubs.
- Support club executives through training, mentoring, and leadership development.
- Deliver engagement programs that promote inclusion, wellbeing, and connection.
- Build and maintain partnerships with UTS faculties, departments, and community organisations.
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance student engagement and participation.
- Use data and insights to evaluate program impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee budgets, funding allocations, and sponsorships to ensure financial accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that supports student success.
About You
- Proven leadership experience managing staff, volunteers, or student leaders, with demonstrated involvement in university clubs.
- Strong background in student engagement, community development, or program delivery (preferably in higher education).
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and applying data for planning and evaluation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about student development, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social sciences, education, or a related field.
