SESSION OVERVIEW

“Belonging” is the word of the moment across the sector, but for most institutions it remains a feeling they hope happens rather than an outcome they design for. Drawing on the Simple Nimble Index – an organisational diagnostic, this session reframes belonging as something with identifiable drivers: having a clear role and accountabilities, autonomy and connection.

Amy will share what the data tells us about where these drivers tend to break down in teams and organisations, and offer a practical framework that student experience teams can use to move from good intentions to a deliberate strategy.

Delegates will leave with:

  • Insight into where belonging typically breaks down, drawn from real trends and data
  • A simple set of questions they can take back to their own teams to start deliberately designing for belonging

PRESENTER

At Simple Nimble, they know that when people thrive, businesses thrive.

Evidence shows that business performance increases and profitability grows by up to 21%, when teams are highly engaged and supported to do what they need to do. Simple Nimble work with organisations to transform their strategic performance, from developing and assessing the effectiveness of purposeful strategy, through to equipping organisations with the tools, systems and capabilities to elevate their performance.

And they do it all, with people at the centre.
