SESSION OVERVIEW
This session is designed to showcase online services, programs, and volunteering initiatives within the higher education sector.
The goal is to create an open and collaborative discussion where participants can share their own programs, ideas, successes, and challenges. We encourage everyone to come prepared to contribute and learn from one another.
Session Outcomes:
This session will provide opportunities to exchange knowledge, inspire new ideas, and explore ways to adapt and enhance programs to better meet the needs of students across our institutions.
PRESENTERS
Stefanie Maccar is a seasoned university student services professional with over 15 years of experience in service and program development, volunteer coordination, and event management. Her passions lie in student mentoring and training, with a deep interest in building community, student wellbeing and food relief.
Renee de Villeneve is the Student Engagement and Development Manager at Tasmanian University Student Association. She has over 20 years’ experience coaching, educating, teaching and training all over the world, in addition experience in the practices of careers, business development and health coaching. Renee’s purpose is to help people create change by looking at the bigger picture before focusing on the details. At TUSA her team works in the Clubs & Societies, Events, Learning and Development (including internships and work integrated learning opportunities), Partnerships and Unique Tassie Experience spaces. Before joining TUSA, Renee travelled a lot. She now uses her experience to help others through coaching, training, and supporting the student experience in all its forms at UTAS.
