SESSION OVERVIEW
For a long time SEN and its members have ruminated over how we can provide an asset that helps inform the wider sector and people of influence about the amazing work and immense value of the work done by Student Experience professionals in Australia and New Zealand. This year we have embarked on a journey to create that asset, and develop it over the coming years so that there is a meaningful report and data that supports the work that you do. Tim Burdeu (RMIT Student Life and Board Chair) and Paul Clayton (CEO SEN) will present the journey so far and the progress made on the first iteration as we build towards supporting the value our members provide in the student journey.
PRESENTERS
Paul Clayton is the CEO of Student Experience Network and has over 20 years’ experience in senior management of student associations across Australia and the UK.
Tim Burdeu is Associate Director of Student Life at RMIT University and Board Chair of the Student Experience Network.
With over two decades of global experience in higher education and student engagement, Tim has led strategic transformation initiatives spanning student wellbeing, sport and recreation, co-curricular leadership, placemaking, and digital innovation. He holds an Executive MBA and is a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
Tim is passionate about reimagining the role of student experience professionals in a rapidly evolving sector and brings a design-minded, customer-focused approach to shaping inclusive, impactful campus experiences.
