SESSION OVERVIEW

This session is an opportunity to share some common challenges when starting a new club. Not all new club ideas are unique and even if it is a novel idea, it may be ill-conceived for a University context or have other considerations. What are some ways to give feedback to unsuccessful Applicant Groups? What timing in a semester works best for application periods? Are decisions objective or subjective? Should new clubs be decided on a ‘first in, best dressed’ process or a ‘merit’ process? What can we do as a collective to improve new club application processes? Bring your ideas and willingness to share.
