SESSION OVERVIEW
Out of the Boardinary is an immersive governance program tailored for student union staff and board members. This session gives attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the course design, content and outcomes. We’ll explore how the program aligns with HESA and SSAF requirements, supports smoother induction processes, and strengthens the working relationship between student leaders, staff and the university.
The Student Governance Accord is the sector’s first benchmark for measuring governance in student associations and clubs. This session gives attendees an inside look at the framework, levels of attainment and assessment process. You’ll see how the Accord can quickly review an organisation’s governance approach, highlight alignment to benchmarks, and identify areas for improvement with clear pathways to support.
