Strengthening Pathways – SEN Artwork
The artist is Bond University student, Imogen Clarence, who is a proud Kamilaroi Woman who grew up on Bigambul Country, Goondiwindi. She now lives and works on Kombumerri Land. Growing up she had limited connection with her culture, however, since relocating to the Gold Coast to study at Bond, she has had the privilege to spend time with local Elders in the First Nations Centre at Bond University and discover how amazing and special her culture is.
She credits art for helping heal and educate her and providing an outlet for her to deal with stress.
