BIO: Will Stubley is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Year13, an Australian EdTech committed to upgrading the school-to-work transition, and empowering individuals to embrace a future of hope, security, and productivity. Year13 was founded after experiencing the loss of a friend as a result of the pressures that young people face when finishing school and is now Australia’s largest platform in this space. Year13 has over 2M students, 1,300 High Schools, 1.5M Parents and 100+ industry partners in their network. Including partnerships with State and Federal Government Departments as well as organisations such as the Tech Council of Australia, the Future Skills Organisation, Engineers Australia, Westpac and many more.

SESSION OVERVIEW: Elevate the Experience of transitioning from school to work. Year 13 will share their hypothesis that ‘Effective career education significantly improves students wellbeing through social and economic outcomes by enhancing school productivity and fostering student confidence, leading to a sustainable talent pool for skill shortage industries.’ 

 The presentation will include Gen Z insights and an understanding of who Gen Z are, their habits, behaviours, perceptions, challenges, etc, and how we can use this knowledge to effectively engage with young people and Elevate the school-to-work Experience.
