Clubs & Societies Governance Toolkit

SEN knows that effective Club Governance supports well-functioning, successful clubs, and establishes a strong governing culture within them. It is also associated with the longevity of many well-established Societies.

To help support clubs and societies on your campus, SEN, in partnership with CPR Group, has created an innovative Club Governance Modules Course complete with templates and resources.

These modules and resources are designed to sit alongside Members’ existing club resources, or as the primary guidelines if the Member campus has none or is developing their own.

The content structure was based on direct consultation with SEN’s Clubs and Society Committee; working groups with university clubs managers across Australia plus an online member survey.  Additional information, templates, and guidelines were contributed by the industry expertise of CPR Group.

The online modules address all aspects of good club governance including roles and responsibilities of the executives, planning, meetings, financial management, and more.

The modules include videos, information slides, workable templates, and worksheets.
