Clubs Administration Officer – QUT Guild

About The Role

Here at QUT we’re proud to have 170+ affiliated clubs and societies with over 28,000 students taking advantage of the chance to learn new skills and hang out with like-minded people. This role is based on growing, developing, and supporting QUT Guilds diverse student run Clubs and Societies.

The role provides support to QUT Guild Clubs and Societies for the purpose of enriching and enhancing the student experience of campus life. The position is student facing with a significant amount of ‘behind the scenes’ organisational, administrative and compliance work to support clubs, e.g managing the email and phone enquires, BBQ and Events bookings and equipment hire. The role is required to liaise with the Club Coordinator and complete any delegated tasks as required.

QUT Guild is a student-led, not-for-profit organisation that aims to make the university experience of each student the most engaging, enjoyable, and memorable it can be. Our events, activities and student initiatives are led by over 30 student representatives who are elected each year by students, for students.

We are dedicated to supporting students in all aspects of their QUT student experience, providing Advocacy & Representation through the Advocacy team, running events and workshops throughout the year to support their Welfare & Wellbeing, as well as building Community & Culture on campus and promoting Diversity & Inclusion at QUT. The QUT Guild also runs several retail outlets on campus such as Bars, General Store and Australia Post.
