Director, Kids Uni CBD – UOW Pulse

About The Role

An exciting opportunity is open for a leader to support the team part time at Kids’ Uni CBD, working 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday). This key role will see you sharing responsibility to manage the day to day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations and legislation, as well as guiding, mentoring and managing a team of 20-25 staff. This position is offered on a maximum term contract for 12 months, to cover a period of parental leave.

You will be responsible for driving and implementing Kids’ Uni’s philosophical approaches to curriculum and teaching practices. You will work alongside an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable leadership team, to drive quality initiatives within the service.

You will be a strong advocate for your team and the children and families in your care, working closely with the leadership team to ensure the best interests of staff, children and families are front of mind in all decision making. You will be the escalation point at the service for any concerns, issues or complaints and will be confident in resolving them.
