Admin Support Coordinator – Student Experience Network

About The Role

The Admin Support Coordinator is a relatively new role, responsible for enabling the smooth administration of the operations, projects and services of the organisation to maximise the team’s potential.

The role will include office coordination, project support, commercial support, event admin support, communications coordination, website coordination and review. There will be occasional interstate travel (2-3 times per year).

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary/Higher education to diploma or degree level (or equivalent work experience) in a relevant field (e.g. business management, project management, tourism, hospitality, communications) would be well regarded, but not essential.
  • Current driver’s licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience:

  • Be able to show some experience of detail-focused work and orgnaisation, supporting a team or individual.
  • Well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft 365 suite and ability to use other platforms (CRM, LMS)
  • Experience working within the tertiary sector, encompassing an understanding of Unions, Associations, and University members is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using WordPress and Adobe Photoshop or similar would be a positive addition to the skillset and well regarded.
  • Ability to utilise AI to improve work process and productivity will be well regarded

  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Creative, curious, and insightful person who can “think outside the box”.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop working relationships with others.
  • Has a particular empathy, sensitivity, and appreciation for professionals working with students and the diverse ethnic, socio-economic, genders and identities of the student body, staff, and clients.
  • Ability to conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner.
  • Good sense of humour.

The Student Experience Network (SEN) is a co-operative that is owned by its member organisations which include universities, TAFEs, student unions, guilds and associations, campus sports associations, as well as smaller campus groups. Our members span across more than 90+ campuses in Australia, as well as several in New Zealand.
