About The Role
The Clubs and Events Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering student engagement, enhancing campus life, and supporting the development of a vibrant student community. This position is responsible for coordinating student-focused events and activities run by the Guild and providing administrative and operational support to student clubs and societies, growing the number of clubs on campus and the number of students engaged in club activities. The role involves close collaboration with students, Guild staff, and external stakeholders to ensure events and club activities are impactful, inclusive, and aligned with the Guild’s mission and goals.
About UniSQ Student Guild
The UniSQ Student Guild is a not-for-profit organisation that supports students of the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ).
The primary purpose of the Student Guild is to advance and promote the views and interests of all UniSQ students to the University and other stakeholders both within and external to the University. Included in this charter, is the management and provision of cultural, sporting, recreational and social activities, amenities and services to all students regardless of mode of study or location. To this end, gym facilities are provided by the Student Guild for students and staff on all three campuses, with virtual classes and other enrichment opportunities available to support and enrich student’s learning experiences.
The deadline for accepting applications is 5.00pm Friday 28 February 2025. We will be interviewing during the entire duration with the desire to hire as close to the closing date as possible.
