Anyone who works in the tertiary student services sector would benefit from attending. SENCON gives tertiary student services staff the chance to be informed by the latest industry trends, inspired by industry best practice and engaged via the multiple networking opportunities with peers.
SENCON is an annual event that brings together delegates representing the varied student service disciplines on tertiary campuses around Australia and New Zealand. Incorporating four conference streams focusing on management/commercial services/marketing/student outcomes and support/clubs and societies, the conference focuses on showcasing the best in student experience on our shared campuses.
One of the highlights of the conference is the SEN Expo. A dynamic event, this is your opportunity to engage with suppliers, check out new products and services and be introduced to innovative concepts.
The conference also hosts the national final of the SEN Campus Barista of the Year competition, which sees the best baristas on Australian campuses vie to win the Campus Barista trophy, a $2,000 coffee machine, and a $500 cash prize, all courtesy of our competition partners Vittoria Coffee. This is held during the session breaks on Day 2 of the conference.
Aside from the conference and trade fair, there are a number of opportunities to network with your peers. There is the pre-conference fun social evening on the night before SENCON, plus a free community building sundowner directly after the SEN Expo on Day 1. The sundowner is a great opportunity to connect with likeminded peers within your community group of interest. After the sundowner, you can enjoy an evening out on the town with your teams or new friends. There is also optional campus tours that take place after SENCON closes on Day 3.
Last, but not least, is the Student Experience Network Awards Gala Dinner. An evening of celebration where members are recognised for their achievements over the past year. See the awards that are up for grabs here.

No, you do not require physical tickets to attend SENCON 2022. For online registrations, when text refers to the word “ticket”, it is merely a standard of the website. Delegates will however be required to wear a name tag at all times, which can be collected upon arrival on Day 1 and Day 2. These name tags will allow entry to each day of SENCON and the SEN Expo.
Yes you will require your name tag for the entirety of the conference. Please be aware that anybody without a name tag will not be permitted to attend. All delegates will receive these when registering on Day 1 or Day 2.
Through the online registration portal you are able to register up to 10 delegates at the same time. You will be prompted to select the number of delegates you wish to register on the registration page.
There are two payment methods ‘Credit/Debit Card’ or ‘Pay by Invoice’ which is selected during the registration process.
You will be amongst friends, so there is no set dress code for the conference, just dress comfortably.
However, the dress code for the gala dinner is cocktail wear.
