Free Recreational Activities Run By Student Volunteers
SESSION OVERVIEW
This session will showcase MSA Leadership & Volunteering’s Wellbeing & Recreational programs, led by student volunteers under the mentorship and supervision of L&V staff. Featured programs include MSA’s Art & Language Classes, Mindful Colouring, Wellness Challenges, Cooking Classes, and Take Home Meals programs. Following the presentations, attendees are invited to
share their own volunteer or staff-run wellbeing and recreational programs.

PRESENTER
Stefanie Maccar is a seasoned university student services professional with over 15 years of experience. She leads a leadership and volunteering department, coordinating over 2,000 volunteers annually. With expertise in leadership training, logistics management, and mentoring, Stefanie has thrived as both a department manager and volunteer coordinator. As a licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor, she is passionate about mental health awareness and student welfare. Stefanie also coordinates various programs that provide weekly food relief and free recreational activities for students, demonstrating her commitment to student well-being.
