About The Role
Adelaide University Sport & Fitness is on the lookout for an experienced HEAD OF SPORT DEVELOPMENT to lead the charge in participation and high-performance programs, club development, and athlete support.
In this senior role, you will:
- Drive strategy and support for our 40 AU Sport clubs
- Champion high performance and social sport programs
- Build strong stakeholder partnerships
- Contribute to an exciting and inclusive sport culture on campus.

POSITION OBJECTIVES
▪ Manage and support AUSF club governance, club development and operations.
▪ Oversee sport, recreation and fitness activities to deliver high performance, competitive and
social sport to the University community that contribute to belonging, wellbeing and
engagement.
▪ Manage strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
▪ Be an active participant within the Adelaide University Sport and Fitness team and contribute
positively to the inclusive and community-focussed culture at Adelaide University
About UniSC Student Guild
Established in 1896, Adelaide University Sport and Fitness (AUSF), although administratively autonomous, is directly affiliated with the University of Adelaide and has been incorporated in its own right since 1979. AUSF helps students and the wider community access an extensive range of sporting facilities and an eclectic mix of over 40 sporting clubs and three on campus gyms. AUSF also hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year, ranging from social activities through to competitive events.
