International Student Support Adviser – Charles Darwin University
About The Role
As the International Student Support Adviser, you will play a key role in promoting and supporting the success of international students at CDU. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to develop and implement education and welfare initiatives that provide early, targeted, and evidenced-based support to international students. You will also work individually to support international student with complex circumstances.
You will work in a highly collaborative way to ensure that international students are provided with the right support at the right time and will find creative ways to deliver key messages and support. You will lead staff capacity building to ensure that both professional and academic staff are aware of, and able to respond effectively to international student compliance requirements, learning and teaching needs and cultural considerations.
In short, you will be the champion of international students, promoting their success and supporting them when they experience challenges. As an effective communicator and natural collaborator, you’ll bring others along on this journey and ensure that the success and welfare of international students is seen as “everybody’s business”
