Multi-Site Outlet Supervisor – University of Queensland Union
About The Role
They are looking for an energetic and experienced Multi-Site Outlet Supervisor to lead and oversee the operations of three retail outlets – Lolly Shop, Op Shop, and ETC– all located at the St. Lucia campus.
A bit more about their outlets:
- Lolly Shop – UQU’s one stop shop for all things sweet and delicious! They sell a variety of popular confectionery, drinks and snacks and see a high volume of customers, particularly during university teaching periods.
- Op Shop – Providing high quality, second hand clothing products at student friendly prices.
- ETC – For all your stationery needs on campus.
This role involves providing hands-on leadership and consistent supervision and support to your teams on a day-to-day basis.
Reporting to the Hospitality & Entertainment Area Manager, you’ll work collaboratively to drive performance, support staff development, and contribute to the continued success of our business. As this is a retail role, you’ll also deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a positive team environment.
This role also involves:
- Plan, prepare, and monitor rosters to meet organisational needs
- Ensuring the outlets are professionally maintained internally and externally
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
- Initiating and implementing outlet specials and promotions
- Assisting the Area Manager with the preparation of the budget, and ensuring the outlets are adhering to the budget
- Managing stock-takes
- Stock rotation and control
- Adhering to outlet-specific GP%
- Ensuring that policies and procedures are being adhered to
