Student Connect Officer – Australian College of Physical Education
About The Role
ACPE are seeking a Student Connect Officer to support students throughout their academic journey. Reporting to the Dean and Student Connect and Engagement Manager, you will act as a link between students, academic staff, and support services in supporting student retention and engagement. The role is focused on creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for both new and continuing students, thereby enhancing their overall academic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain New Students Enrolments (NSE) data ensuring timely reporting.
- Monitor attendance records of NSE and Probation Condition students pre-census, including convening pre-census meetings.
- Support student enrolment processes, study assistance, timetable, and MyGov queries.
- Liaise with students for unit changes and course progression updates on Paradigm.
- Provide access support for ACPE systems including updating information on the portal.
- Provide administrative support and coordinate appointments and meetings across departments.
- Assist the Student Support Coordinator with student retention and probation condition students.
- Serve as a point of contact for new and late-enrolling students during onboarding and orientation.
- Assist as a point of contact for front desk operations, ensuring all queries are addressed professionally or directed to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with the coordination of facilities, events and functions.
About you:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 2–3 years in admin or student services (tertiary education preferred).
- Current First Aid, CPR, and WWCC.
