Student Marketing Manager – QUT Guild

About The Role

The Student Marketing Manager is a semi-autonomous role accountable to the Head of Student Experience for:

  • Creation of marketing strategy and plan in line with the Guild’s Strategic Plan.
  • Implementation of position responsibilities.
  • Implementation of QUT Guild’s policies, operational requirements, and work practices .
  • Achievement of exacting standards for professional practice and duty of care.
  • Use of the resources of the organisation as required by relevant statutes, standards or directions.

The position manages multiple members of the Marketing Team which may include temporary staff/interns from time-to-time. This position will have a level of organisational agility and adapt to organisational needs and priorities as they arise.

About QUT Guild

QUT Guild is a student-led, not-for-profit organisation that aims to make the university experience of each student the most engaging, enjoyable, and memorable it can be. Our events, activities and student initiatives are led by over 30 student representatives who are elected each year by students, for students.

We are dedicated to supporting students in all aspects of their QUT student experience, providing Advocacy & Representation through the Advocacy team, running events and workshops throughout the year to support their Welfare & Wellbeing, as well as building Community & Culture on campus and promoting Diversity & Inclusion at QUT. The QUT Guild also runs several retail outlets on campus such as Bars, General Store and Australia Post.
