This session will explore the practical and strategic use of TikTok in the higher education sector, focusing on its potential to engage and connect with students in meaningful ways.
We will discuss how universities can leverage TikTok (and video in general) to enhance their visibility, foster community, and drive student engagement. The session will provide insights into content creation, scheduling, and community management, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities unique to this platform.
Additionally, we will address the role of AI in amplifying TikTok’s impact and discuss the ethical considerations related to data privacy and content authenticity.
