FACILITATORS
Mitchell McBurnie is the General Manager (Strategy, Marketing & Experience) at Arc – UNSW Student Life. They also sit on the SEN Board of Directors (including Nominations & Governance Committee and Finance, Audit & Risk Committee). Mitch is passionate about optimising student experiences through evidence-based, creative and programmatic solutions. Also tell Mitch which Suncorp Super Netball team you support.
Ellie Winter is the Publication and Student Representative Officer at Western Sydney University, and also works with Western’s Student Services Future Students team. She holds a Bachelor of Communication and is completing a Bachelor of Creative Leadership through The Academy at Western. Ellie passionate about post-truth, artificial intelligence, climate science communication, and rhetoric, particularly in online short-form video content. Her goal is to support student editors she works with by applying her interests in rhetoric, critical discourse analysis, and media literacy to help them develop skills in navigating an increasingly post-truth influenced landscape.
