WHS Administrator – UQ Sport
About The Role
UQ Sport are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven WHS Administrator to join our team and support the development and delivery of safe practices across their varied facilities and operations. This position is for a 1 year fixed term contract working 20 hours per week.
This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to gain a hands-on experience in supporting WHS initiatives within the sporting organisation, while enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance. Working closely with the Safety and Risk Advisor, this role will help in ensuring compliance, risk reduction, and promoting a culture of safety across sporting operations and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate WHS data entry and system maintenance using our new safety platform.
- Supporting WHS projects and contributing to continuous system improvements.
- Assisting with WHS investigations and gathering information for incident reviews.
- Reviewing and updating risk assessments and incident report documentation.
- Supporting the identification and implementation of hazard control measures.
- Participating in internal WHS audits and benchmarking activities.
- Assisting in the review and update of WHS policies and procedures.
